In the picture, I am second from the
left. Early 90's, while I was a youth leader of the Vietnamese Valiant
Heart Association at St. Luke, Stockton, I was impressed by the spirit of the
Salesians. I entered to the formation discernment of the Salesians of the
Western Province. For the past few years, I was sent to different places such as the novitiated in
Rosemead, CA; the posted-novitiate in South Orange, New Jersey then
Richmond, CA. I completed my college education in sociology and
philosophy. In response to God's love to serve the young people as a
priest, I am now studying theology at the Graduate Theology Union, Berkeley
and was professed perpetually on this solemn celebration of the
Assumption of Our Blessed Mother August 15th, 2003 at St. Dominic Savio
Church in Bellflower, California. I am also a webmaster for this site.

I was born in Vietnam and grew up at Tam Hà area
nearby the Salesian Sisters community. After high school, I joined the
Vietnamese Salesians until my family and I left for Portland, Oregon.
Almost immediately after my arrival, I joined the Salesians of the Western
Province at St. Joseph's in 1995. After being perpetually professed and
worked in the library of Don Bosco Technical Institute, I am now studying
theology here in Berkeley. My dream is to become a missionary in the
Salesian mission. Maybe one day I will be in Sierra Lione, West Africa.
